Very attentive sales. Showed us options within our budget. No hard sell.

Started to have trouble with a boat we just bought. Took to McKibben. I highly recommend them. Tech changed out all the old gas lines. Getting small debris in filters. After taking back to store in frustration. Tech came to me to check out on the water. Thats when he realize former owner put a new gas tank on but not for a high pressure 4 stroke. Boat runs like new. All the staff was kind and wanted my problem solved. Thanks again. Will use for future needs.

I moved to Lake Placid Florida from South Florida about a year ago and recently needed to have my boat motor repaired so I went to Lake Placid Marine close to my house because I had gone there before to purchase some odds and ends and I noticed the lady that runs the place was kind of rude but I shrugged it off because I'm from Boston so I'm used to people in the south that tend to be a bit negative to me. But my when wife who is from the south told me she treated her and her dad the same way. When I went there to ask her about my motor repair and all she wanted to do was sell me a battery before she would even check my boat motor. And she was rude about it. So I called Performance Sales and Service the guy on the phone was polite and respectful he told me they were about a week behind in repairs but when I explained my problem the same way I did at Lake Placid Marine he told me it sounded like something simple that might be a quick easy fix. He couldn't promise me anything and he couldn't put ahead of anyone else but between jobs he would check for out for me. Two days later the motor was fixed at a reasonable price. These guys were awesome I would recommend them to anyone. I will definitely use them in the future for any of my fishing needs. The guy that works there is a fun person to talk to and gave me great advice on how to catch bass in this area which is very different from South Florida. With his information I am catching more bass than ever. They are so friendly there you can actually hang out at their tackle shop and talk about fishing I love this place.

They are doing an amazing job on our boat and keeping us informed as to what they are doing and asking permission to continue so we know what the price is!!

after the sale, Shake your hand and then when you call they put you on ignore instead of hold and have only a vague memory of selling you a boat.

BUT THESE GUYS AT PERFORMANCE MARINE ARE THE REAL DEAL!!!

James and Ron and Scott and Jeff STILL treat me like a fishing buddy and seem happy to see me. The guys in the back working on boats are great as well. The greatest thing about my purchase is NO REMORSE !

I had a new Ranger boat with less than three hours on the engine. The new 150 HP Mercury just locked up. My Ohio dealer contacted Performance who said they could look at it a couple of days. I took the boat in on Thursday got a call on Monday the motor was bad and Mercury was sending them a new one. II picked up my boat the following Saturday. Unbelievable.

Ron the service manager was wonderful in keeping me up to date on the job and called me with answers when he said he would. I never felt like he was too busy to answer my questions.

I would highly recommend Performance for your marine service! Im totally satisfied!

Very knowledgeable staff and great customer service. Have had my boat serviced there as well as purchasing parts from them.

I ordered a part online & their website said if they didn't have it in stock it would be few days to ship so I wasn't expecting the part for a while. They called me on the phone two hours after I placed the order to let me know the part was on national back order & they would be refunding my credit card. Said they would let me know if & when the part became available. Technically I suppose we haven't really done business but with this kind of customer service we sure will be.

The part I ordered was an exact fit and performs perfectly. I was shocked when I saw the pump had fluid in it and was already primed.The staff was helpful from the very beginning from making sure I was ordering the right thing to email communication pertaining to shipment.

I found performance marine online while searching for a new sea pro 248, their add online seemed to good to be true because the price was substantially lower than other same boats advertised. Called and got in touch with mike, he was very helpful on the phone and explained everything about the boat along with total price. That afternoon I took this information and went shopping locally and was blown away with the much higher prices I received. Made a return call to mike and made the deal over the phone. 2 days later drove down from Tampa and finalized the deal on my new boat. Over the next couple weeks I made a few calls back to performance marine with questions and recommendations on the boat and was always called back promptly and given their knowledge. A+++ in my book. Keep up the great customer service.

Recently made a move from IL to FL and realized I needed power poles to fish efficiently down here. Mike and his crew at Performance were gracious and informative as I made my decision on which model and took great care in the installation process. I am more than pleased with my new poles and the way I was treated at Performance. Kudos as well to the boys on the bait shop side. I consider Performance my boat and bait headquarters for the winter months.

I called today regarding an issue with my 250 proxs. Even though I was from out of town Mike took the time to explain that adjusting the oil reservoir cap should fix the problem. Many dishonest dealers would have told me to bring it in immediately then proceed to hit me over the head with diagnostic fees until they found something wrong. I truly appreciate your honesty. In the future when I need service I will make the drive to performance marine. Kudos!!!!!!!
